Dr. Russell has an extensive background in the chiropractic profession with a special focus on postural corrective care as well as specialized care for athletes and prenatal care for expectant mothers. Now in his 15th year of practice, he continually updates his knowledge of the latest chiropractic techniques and treatments, ensuring that his patients receive the care that is best suited to their needs. Dr. Russell’s high level of expertise makes him a skilled and knowledgeable source to his patients.
Dr. Russell is a huge advocate for chiropractic care. Dr. Russell received his first adjustment in his early twenties for a sports injury that had plagued him for years, and hasn’t looked back since, frequently getting adjusted to maintain his high level of healthy living. He is a multi-year USA Triathlon All American triathlete and also enjoys surfing.
Dr. Russell was a collegiate swimmer for UNC Chapel Hill and he received his chiropractic degree from Life University. Dr. Russell and his wife Tiffany are lifelong Virginia Beach residents.
Dr. Russell previously focused on long distance racing, having completed 10 half ironman races all under 5 hours, and racing his first Ironman triathlon in Coeur D’Alene, ID in June 2011. Dr. Russell and his wife Tiffany also qualified and competed in the 2011 Boston Marathon.
The Russells look forward to continued travel, visiting family and friends from Colorado, California, Minnesota and Arkansas with their son, Duncan.
